The Thompson Falls Chamber of Commerce board held its monthly meeting Friday at The Ledger, and there was so much productivity! We have some very exciting things happening with YOUR Chamber!
As a reminder, if you have any events the Chamber can help you promote, please feel free to call 406-827-4930, or email thompsonfallschamber@gmail.com.
Here is just some of what the board has been working on!
MAIN STREET BLOOMS
Flower baskets will be going up on Main Street soon. We would love for members and friends to help sponsor the baskets. We have hired someone who will be watering twice a day Monday-Friday, but if you can take a morning or evening shift on Saturday or Sunday that would be fantastic! If each Chamber member took one shift of one weekend in the summer, we would have more than enough help. Call or email The Chamber if you'd like to help! THE CIRCUS IS COMING!
Culpepper & Merriweather Circus will be in Thompson Falls for TWO SHOWS on Wednesday, June 15. You can watch the big tent go up at 10 a.m. at Previs Field (below Thompson Falls High School) on June 15, and the circus will start at 5 and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at First Security Bank, The Ledger, Whitefish Credit Union and Limberlost Brewery. Don't forget to stop by The Ledger for a chance to win FREE TICKETS!
Ahead of the circus, SKEETER THE CLOWN will be in Thompson Falls Tuesday, June 7, to help promote the circus. Follow the Chamber Facebook page to see where you can meet Skeeter.
SANDERS SALEING JUNE 24 & 25
Thompson Falls Chamber of Commerce has volunteered to take over the Sanders Saleing event. We are so excited to help organize this county-wide event that brings hundreds of people to Sanders County! The event is set for June 24-25. Applications are available on our website if you'd like to have a sale. If your business would like to help sponsor the event and help pay for signs and advertising, we would appreciate your support. The form for sales or event sponsorship are available on our website.
JOURNEY OF HOPE CYCLISTS
Each year, the Chamber volunteers to cook dinner for the Journey of Hope cyclists who will be traveling across the country. Thompson Falls will be one of many stops for the cyclists on their way to Washington, D.C. The Ability Experience is an initiative from the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity to instill a passion for lifelong service in the fraternity members while helping to empower people living with disabilities. It's always a pleasure to visit with the team and find out why they are taking this journey. The community is invited to meet with the cyclists at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 17. We will also be serving the group of about 25 dinner, so if you'd like to help serve or donate food, please contact The Chamber!
